Winter has arrived and with it holidays and reflections. As we prepare for 2026, we look back at 2025 and take the lessons we have learned with us. This is not quite the last community post of the year, but 2025 is nearly to a close and preparations are underway for next year already. Both the AtoM  and the Archivematica  roadmaps have been updated to reflect the current work on each project. In case you missed it, this momentous occasion happened on Friday, September 26th. For the first time, Archivematica and AtoM had major releases on the same day. Archivematica 1.18.0 and AtoM 2.10.0 are now available thanks to the hard work of the project maintainers. Archivematica 1.18 includes a major upgrade to ElasticSearch 8.x. This week the AtoM User Forum reached a milestone of 2,000 members! The forum has been an open and vibrant community of worldwide AtoM users since 2008. It is a rich resource of shared knowledge for people getting started with AtoM, advanced users wanting advice from others, and individuals installing the software.
