2026 is almost two months gone and the community has been as involved as ever. Both the AtoM  and Archivematica  projects have been busy with community-reported issues and pull requests. In case you missed it, this momentous occasion happened on Friday, September 26th. For the first time, Archivematica and AtoM had major releases on the same day. Archivematica 1.18.0 and AtoM 2.10.0 are now available thanks to the hard work of the project maintainers. Archivematica 1.18 includes a major upgrade to ElasticSearch 8.x. This week the AtoM User Forum reached a milestone of 2,000 members! The forum has been an open and vibrant community of worldwide AtoM users since 2008. It is a rich resource of shared knowledge for people getting started with AtoM, advanced users wanting advice from others, and individuals installing the software.
