Online training sessions

Artefactual offers 1.5-hour online basic training sessions using screen-sharing software and our sample data. These are interactive sessions in which one of our Systems Archivists demonstrates features in detail and responds to questions about the software’s functionality. Questions are strongly encouraged and the instructor can emphasize specific features at the institution’s request. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Archivematica or AtoM if you are just starting to use the software or if you are considering it for your institution.  Please contact us if you would like to sign up for an online training session.

Onsite workshops

For in-depth training, in non-pandemic times, we are available to teach onsite workshops. Please contact us if you would like to discuss an onsite workshop for your institution.

Dedicated VMs for classroom training

For instructors who would like to demo Archivematica in the classroom and provide students with an opportunity to use the system themselves, a dedicated hosted instance of Archivematica can be made available for either a day or for thirty days. Note that depending on class size and the nature of the assignments, more than one VM may be required. Please contact us if you would like to sign up for dedicated hosted Archivematica VM(s).
