The United Nations Archives today announced the launch of an online peacekeeping mapping exhibition which geo-locates all 71 missions on a map of the world and showcases the records of current and past peacekeeping operations held in the archives. Each slide in the exhibit gives a brief history of the mission and provides links to the location of these records in the UN Archives’ hosted AtoM site! The UN’s peacekeeping mission records are some of the most important and popular records held by the Archives, and we are pleased to play a part in making those records available to users around the world.
