Darren leads a team of Systems Administrators and Production Support Engineers who serve the needs of Artefactual’s technical support and hosting clients. Darren’s team also develops hosting infrastructure, contributes to software release processes and provides technical services to other Artefactual staff.

Darren has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of British Columbia and has worked in IT support management positions at a number of organizations, including Clevest Solutions, Netsimplicity Software, Stream International Canada, Group Telecom and UBC IT Services. He is currently learning more than he ever thought he wanted to know about the world of digital preservation and archival description.
