Anvit joined the Artefactual team as an AtoM Maintainer in 2023. He has a Masters in Computer Science degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, and has spent over 5 years in the Tech industry in various capacities. Prior to joining Artefactual, he taught the Web development course at BrainStation. His past teaching experience includes Vancouver Community College, Vancouver Institute of Media Arts, and Red Academy. He also worked as a developer on the Live Code Editor team for MATLAB at MathWorks.

He strongly believes in the importance of ethics in technology, and is passionate about open-source technology and Linux. When he’s not working, he spends his time playing board games, watching films, and going camping and hiking.
