Jesús García Crespo

Jesús García Crespo

Jesús is the lead developer for the AtoM web-based description and access tool.

Jesús is one of the hardest working software developers in our community. He spends countless hours coding and performing code reviews, planning and managing releases, analyzing new requirements and mentoring other AtoM developers. He also has a talent for deployment, dev ops, technical training and pretty much anything related to software development and technical services.

Jesús began contributing AtoM code patches when he was managing the deployment of ICA-AtoM at the Ducal House of Medinaceli Foundation. He has many years of experience in Javascript rich web applications, server administration and legacy data migration. He has also published several articles on Linux networking, completed a Google Summer of Code assignment for the Open Source Security Information Management (OSSIM) project, and coordinated the creation of free public wireless networks in his hometown of Sevilla, Spain.
