Mount Royal University Special Collections publicly launched a new AtoM-based descriptive database called Archives Search On October 26. The online database will make archival holdings more discoverable and accessible by students, faculty, staff, and community members, and will enable the Archives to better fulfill its mandate “to support teaching, learning, and scholarship through the development of archival holdings and specialized library collections.” Artefactual developed MRU’s customized AtoM theme and and also provides hosting for the site.
