After reviewing various competing proposals, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA NYC) has selected Artefactual to develop its Digital Repository Museum Collections – Management Application (DRMC-MA). The system will be developed using Archivematica 1.0 and AtoM 2.0 and will make a number of major new features available in the 2014 releases of both applications. Design work has begun in August 2013.

MoMA has one of the preeminent collections of digital art in the world. This collaboration will ensure that these invaluable holdings will remain accessible and usable well into future. It will also further enhance the integration between AtoM and Archivematica for new and existing users, in particular those that are also preserving complex digital art collections.
