Call for new members to the Product Support Program

Artefactual is pleased to announce that general membership applications are now being accepted for the Archivematica Product Support Program. The mandate of the Product Support Program (PSP) is to improve and ensure the long term, sustainable usefulness and value of Archivematica to members and the entire global cultural memory community.  It’s a membership-based venue for organisations that are actively engaged in extending or customising Archivematica.

The PSP was initiated in January of 2019, comprising 6 organizations: the Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford, the International Institute of Social History, Max Communications, Picturae, Wellcome Collection, and Artefactual.

The Product Support Program Terms of Reference (https://psp.archivematica.org/docs/terms-of-reference) more fully describe the purpose and mandate of the PSP, as well as roles and procedures for the membership and Artefactual.  Membership is open to any organization that agrees to conform to the principles of the group and is intended for organizations who are, or who plan to begin, actively developing code for Archivematica.  The annual fee for membership in the program is USD $10,000.

Artefactual appreciates the founding members for their dedication and efforts thus far and we look forward to welcoming new organizations interested in our common objectives.  Please see How to Join (https://psp.archivematica.org/docs/membership#how-to-join) on the PSP website.
